Planning of Aircraft Fleet Maintenance Teams

This paper addresses a support information system for the planning of aircraft maintenance teams, assisting managers in delivering an on time. The developed teams is computer application based mathematical programming problem written as minimization one. initial decision variables are positive integer specifying allocation available technicians by skills to teams. objective function nonlinear balancing time spent and costs incurred with fleet maintenance. data involve technicians’ skills, hours work perform tasks, related facilities, downtime cost. realism this entails random possibilities associated workload data, inference procedure Monte Carlo simulation provides proper set workloads, instead going through all possibilities. formalization problem, converted into equivalent pure linear using transformation from Boolean ones. A case study use plan team three lines under uncertainty discussion results shows serviceableness proposed system.
